Easy like Sunday Morning

I decided to wear denim to church yesterday morning but to jazz up my Levi drain pipes or skinny jeans as they are called today I picked up one of my double peplum tops and wore with some casual platforms to give my 5foot 1 frame a little height

I make this piece
in UK sizes6 - 20 it can be made sleeveless if preferred See it here

Hi Low Peplum Top I made yesterday morning and other things

My client chose this flowery Ankara from the swatches she saw. She wanted a hi low peplum top she can wear on jeans a slight customisation from the style on my site
Click here to view the original piece. I made this piece in UK Size 16 which is US12.
I finished the piece around 10am in the morning and thought I better make something for my self, since the weather is getting warmer 9oC! I decided to make an Ankara jumpsuit for myself. I had made one in jersey fabric 2 weeks ago 2oC.

An African In Winter: The Bomber Jacket

I made another of my "African In Autumn and Winter" Bomber Jackets the client chose the ABC Ankara fabric from 6 swatches available to choose from. The ABC Ankara fabric pattern dates back to the 1950s, when the Dutch factories first started making this cotton fabric for African consumption. This piece is unisex and I add an interfacing of wadding for warmth. Since we are moving intoAutunm I used the thinnest layer of wadding I could find in my local haberdashery.Click here to see   I also used acetate lining, an open ended zip and ribbing which can all be found in your local haberdashery.
My Jacket has raglan sleeves as opposed to the usual round arm hole.

Below is a video of what it entails to put this piece together
